Fat events in February

There are two events happening in Roskilde next week centering fatness, that we would like to recommend:

Feminist Activism in Transition (FAT) - Launch Seminar

FYI: The seminar is free, but deadline for sign up is today!

On Thursday February 20th from 10.00-15.00, RUC will be launching their research project FAT, with exciting guest speakers including Dina Amlund who will talk about how fatphobia has always existed in western culture ie. it has never been OK to be fat.

The feminist dilemmas of Fat Activism // Talk Town Roskilde

Friday February 21st at 5pm. A panel discussion with Dina Amlund, Fat Activist and Cultural Historian, Hannele Harjunen, Fat Studies researcher at University of Jyväskylä, and Lene Bull Christiansen, Gender researcher at Roskilde University. This is part of the feminist festival Talk Town Roskilde 2020, organised by Talk Town.
